Beccy comes from a background in TV drama, feature films and broadcast work. Her career has taken her all over the world as a camerawoman and sound recordist, working on documentaries and natural history for the BBC, National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery and Channel 4.

Beccy’s work has been wide ranging and covered high profile celebrity led films (Sandi Toksvig, Billy Connolly, Julie Walters, Martin Freeman and David Attenborough), extreme sports, natural history, documentary, music and entertainment.

For 20 years Beccy has produced video content for charities, social justice and environmental organizations, as well as collaborating with artists, writers and musicians.

She also works on a freelance basis as an editor recently editing the feature length Documentary Gateways Grind for BBC4 and the feature length music documentary Cliff Top Sessions. (independant cinema release).

BBC4 (editor) - Gateways Grind - Gateways walked so that pretty much every establishment on Old Compton Street could run. This Sandi Toksvig-fronted documentary explores the history and legacy of Britain’s longest surviving lesbian bar. While the King’s Road may have moved on, the fascinating story of a club won in a poker game that eventually became a lesbian mecca endures.

Based between Uganda and Rwanda over the course of a year. Embedded within the communities surrounding the forests where the Gorillas live, and working with the scientists and conservationists who protect them.

Based in Somaliland looking at the work Comic Relief support in the war ravaged country. Second unit camera work was based in a refugee camp and a hospital filming child birth.
